| The AXYS® Intellivox-DS808 was primarily designed to supplement Intellivox-DS1608 installations, covering balcony, off axis and shadow areas. The Intellivox-DS808 is ideally suited for Sports Arenas, Multipurpose venues, Concert Halls and Theatres. As well as offering extended frequency response, up to 18 kHz, the Intellivox-DS808 is capable of delivering up to 105 dB SPL at 30 m. A single Intellivox-DS808 is capable of covering an audience area up to 25 m whilst maintaining an even sound pressure level. For full range applications low frequency response of the system can be easily extended using an AXYS® active sub woofer system. In order to achieve such outstanding performance the Intellivox-DS808 comes with an external 3RU IntelliAmp that is equipped with a 32-bit floating point DSP (Digital Signal Processor) which handles the demanding mathematical calculations that are necessary to achieve highly accurate directivity control, in this case beam shaping. In addition to this the DSP offers a wealth of useful audio processing features including: volume control, parametric EQ and delay. The six, high effi- ciency, 6.5” loudspeakers are arranged in accordance with our patented algorithm. In addition to the 6.5” loudspeakers there are also two coaxially mounted 1” compression drivers to extend the HF response. Power for the multi channel IntelliAmp is provided by a sophisticated switched mode power supply which will ensure years of reliable operation. An extensive set of surveillance functions have also been implemented to meet the stringent demands of typical Voice Alarm (life safety) applications. The unit can be controlled using our proprietary WinControl software which offers user friendly control of the beam steering parameters, audio processing and surveillance features. | |

Typical applications include:
3D direct SPL plot @ 1 kHz in a 70 x 56 x 35 m room, generated with DDA, showing the suppression above the listening plane (over sized room only for comparison reasons). |
Options available include:
Vertical cross section of direct SPL plot @ 1 kHz generated with DDA.
